Will Mazzota is an associate attorney with Sherwood Boutique Litigation, PLC. He is admitted to practice in the State of Tennessee, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, and the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee. His practice consists of criminal defense and civil litigation. He has extensive experience in criminal law, environmental law, and civil litigation.

Originally from Jupiter, Florida, Mr. Mazzota attended the University of Florida where he graduated cum laude with his bachelor’s degrees in environmental science
and political science.  His undergraduate studies and extracurricular experiences led to a life-long passion for public policy, social justice, and criminal justice.

Mr. Mazzota went on to complete his education at the University of Tennessee College of Law.  During his law school career, Mr. Mazzota completed summer internships at Legal Aid of East Tennessee, the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation, and the Southern Environmental Law Center.  He served as the managing editor for the Tennessee Journal of Law and Policy and as a member for the Moot Court Board.  He worked as a student attorney in the UT Law Expungement Clinic and as a research assistant for Professor Penny White.  

After graduating law school, Mr. Mazzota clerked for Judge John Everett Williams on the Tennessee Court of Criminal Appeals.  His time spent as a clerk prepared him for a successful private practice career, honing his legal research and writing skills and immersing him in the workings of criminal justice system.  As a clerk, he became keenly aware of the need for quality lawyering in the criminal defense bar and has devoted himself to providing excellent legal representation in not only criminal cases but also complex civil litigation. Mr. Mazzota is also a member of the Nashville Bar Association and the Tennessee Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
